The formula for calculating energy generation:
ΔE = e + h
Where:

Given an example;

This implies that;
e = Electron Value = 15
h = Hole Value = 5
ΔE = e + h
ΔE = 15 + 5
ΔE = 20
Therefore, the energy generation is 20.
Calculating the Electron Value when the Energy Generation and the Hole Value is Given.
e = ΔE – h
Where:

This implies that;

This implies that;
