Where:

This implies that;

G = Gape Size = 20
S = Set Size = 10

Rr = G / S
So, Rr = 20 / 10

Calculating the Gape Size when the Crusher Reduction Ratio and the Set Size are Given

G = Rr x S

Where:

G = Gape Size
Rr = Crusher Reduction Ratio
S = Set Size

Let’s solve an example;

This implies that;

S = Set Size = 4

Calculating the Set Size when the Crusher Reduction Ratio and the Gape Size are Given

S = G / Rr

Where:

S = Set Size

This implies that;
