To compute for current, two essential parameters are needed and these parameters are Voltage (I) and Resistance (R).
The formula for calculating current:
I = V / R
Where:
I = Current
V = Voltage
R = Resistance
Let’s solve an example;
Find the current when the voltage is 21 and the resistance is 7.
This implies that;
V = Voltage = 21
R = Resistance = 7
I = V / R
I = 21 / 7
I = 3
Therefore, the current is 3 A.
