To compute for voltage, two essential parameters are needed and these parameters are Current (I) and Resistance (R).
The formula for calculating voltage:
V = IR
Where:
V = Voltage
I = Current
R = Resistance
Let’s solve an example;
Find the voltage when the current is 12 and resistance is 6.
This implies that;
I = Current = 12
R = Resistance = 6
V = IR
V = (12)(6)
V = 72
Therefore, the voltage is 72 V.
