The formula for calculating static sensitivity:

k = bo / ao

Where:

k = Static Sensitivity
bo = Co-efficient
ao = Co-efficient

Let’s solve an example;
Find the static sensitivity when the co-efficient is 22 and the co-efficient is 11.

This implies that;

bo = Co-efficient = 22
ao = Co-efficient = 11

k = bo / ao
So, k = 22 / 11
k = 2

Therefore, the static sensitivity is 2.

Calculating for Co-efficient when the Static Sensitivity and the Co-efficient are Given

bo = k x ao

Where;

bo = Co-efficient
k = Static Sensitivity
ao = Co-efficient

Let’s solve an example;
Find the co-efficient when the static sensitivity is 21 and the co-efficient is 4.

This implies that;

k = Static Sensitivity = 21
ao = Co-efficient = 4

bo = k x ao
Then, bo = 21 x 4
bo = 84

Therefore, the co-efficient is 84.

Calculating for Co-efficient when the Static Sensitivity and the Co-efficient are Given

ao = bo / k

Where;

ao = Co-efficient
k = Static Sensitivity
bo = Co-efficient

Let’s solve an example;
Find the co-efficient when the static sensitivity is 10 and the co-efficient is 30.

This implies that;

k = Static Sensitivity = 10
bo = Co-efficient = 30

ao = bo / k
So, ao = 30 / 10
ao = 3

Therefore, the co-efficient is 3.
