Therefore, the frequency of irrigation is 0.5.

d_w = f_w x c_u

Where;

d_w = Minimum Depth of Water
f_w = Frequency of Irrigation
c_u = Depth of Water for Specified Period

Let’s solve an example;
Find the minimum depth of water when the frequency of irrigation is 12 and the depth of water for specified period is 9.

This implies that;

f_w = Frequency of Irrigation = 12
c_u = Depth of Water for Specified Period = 9

So, d_w = f_w x c_u
d_w = 12 x 9
d_w = 108

Therefore, the minimum depth of water is 108.

Calculating the Depth of Water for Specified Period when the Frequency of Irrigation and the Minimum Depth of Water are Given

c_u = ^d_w / _{f_w}

Where;

c_u = Depth of Water for Specified Period
f_w = Frequency of Irrigation
d_w = Minimum Depth of Water

Let’s solve an example;
Find the depth of water for specified period when the frequency of irrigation is 15 and the minimum depth of water is 75.

This implies that;

f_w = Frequency of Irrigation = 15
d_w = Minimum Depth of Water = 75

c_u = ⁷⁵ / ₁₅
c_u = 5

Therefore, the depth of water for a specified period is 5.
